Cost of Legal Services

Fotolia_1393924_xs_3       Clients can arrange for flat fee billing to ensure that the case will be handled to conclusion for a predetermined fee.  Most clients take comfort in knowing the total amount of the legal fee without surprises.

While each case is different and will be quoted accordingly, most simple traffic violations can be handled in it's entirety for a flat fee of $375.00.

More complex motor vehicle cases and those carrying "consequences of magnitude," such as driving while suspended or without insurance, are generally billed with a flat fee of $500.00 to $750.00.

For most DWI cases, Mr. Smith offers a flat fee of $1,500.00, which includes more than one court appearance, but does not include expert fees and/or the additional costs of trial.

All criminal matters must be evaluated before establishing a flat fee, although most can be defended for amounts ranging from $750.00 and $1,500.00.

Mr. Smith requests that all fees are paid in advance of the scheduled court date.
